The Importance of Sisterhood in Hollywood

Game of Thrones final season is approching and every weeks we get a little more about the show behind the scenes, cast interviews, predictions and analysis videos of youtuber fans. As a fervent fan myself and the waiting being painfully long (Did my waiting, TWO years in Azkaban ^^ !) I keep feeding myself with all of the videos above when I can. But last week one video in particular, made me feel really happy. And yet there wasn't much about Game of Thrones but it was more about the relationship of two actress : Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner.
My favorite character of the entire show is Arya Stark and quickly Maisie became one of my favorite actress as well, so I started following her work. Throught those years watching the show, I enjoyed as well a lot the off-screen parts of Maisie and Sophie. It is so endearing and fresh to see those young girls and then women have this bond in the Hollywood Industry. I'm not saying that in Hollywood women are always in competition, against each other; instead lately we see more and more actress involving themself in women's causes and speaking for their rights. That's great and important. But sometime I can't help but feel that some of those are staged, and Hollywood is just playing the feminist marketing card without really solving their issues. So in an already not so friendly environnement for women, it is nice to see Maisie and Sophie have this genuine, caring and sweet bond. Maybe I'm a fool and it's not as genuine as I think it is but thanks to those girls, I'm hopeful to see more and more of this kind of friendship in the Holywood and cinema scenery and women generally being inspired to support each other. Also the idea of soulmate being only romantic relationships is just broken down in this interview and I love it ! Yes you can be soulmate with someone and not have any romantic feeling for them !

New life to this blog ?

Hey, hey ! For those who have known this blog before you might be surprises to see a new article poping here after so long. And for those who don't know, well welcome. It's been a REALLY long time since my journey in Korea and sadly I didn't kept my promise to feed this space. But now I want to do something new with this already existing page. I'm not gonna promise anything this time. Especially with my life right now being in a new dynamic. I am studying 3D animation in Montréal, Canada since last September and it 's a VERY intensive training.

With the initatives that have been done those last 3 years on internet by women, telling us to speak our minds and expressing ourself, I've grown to desire a space where I could share and put those endless and buzzing thoughts, ideas and reflexions I always had in my mind. Becoming more and more committed to the feminist and LGBTQA causes I've also become more passionate into debating, exploring and deepening thoughts. It is very important to me, especially nowadays, to have a critical mind as medias in our society have become such a huge part and influences; and we have so many informations coming from everywhere.

Anyway this blog is about to become kind of like the Pensieve of Dumbledore in Harry Potter. Everytime I have something on my mind that I'd really like to deppen and share, or simple randoms thoughts, I'll put it here in my Pensieve.

For those who don't know me yet, get prepared to have numerous quote to Harry Potter here, I'm obsessed with it ;) ! But maybe nobody will read my stuff XD (And that's ok ^^).

I will also need time to write those thoughts down so the feed may be very irregular as well.
